Aquarium and aquaculture
Provides a carbonate substrate that supports alkalinity in systems drawing it down, and a grain size matched to livestock and flow.
Agriculture and soil
Supplies calcium and carbonate to soil. Aragonite is softer and more reactive than calcitic limestone at the same particle size.
Animal feed
Supplies dietary calcium as carbonate. Sized for blending and for free-choice mineral feeding.
Turf and horticulture
Adds calcium carbonate to sand rootzones and potting media without the fines that impede drainage.

Lowest drift resistance of the three. Where bottom flow sweeps the bed, or where an open porosity is required, specify medium or coarse.
